They will learn about different foods that come from different parts of a plant (for example: carrots are roots.) We will play, create, and discover new things together.

This class will be a basic introduction to 8 different artists using the World’s Greatest Artists series by Mike Venezia. We will go over a brief biography of each artist and discuss some famous pieces of art. The majority of class time will be spent working on a piece of original artwork that mimics a particular style of art created by the artist of that particular week. I will provide large t-shirts to wear, but be aware that this class will be using a variety of art mediums from basic scissors and glue to oil pastels and paint. It is geared mainly towards grades 3-5, but 2nd or 6th graders interested in art are welcome to be in the class. There will not be assigned homework.
