Our home school cooperative is a group of dedicated believers who gather together with our children for worship, prayer, instruction and encouragement. Within this community, our members invest time, talent and energy to provide an environment where our Christian families experience faith based support of one another, and to help our children grow into fully devoted followers of Christ.
Purpose:
SVCH exists to build a community of home schooling families that support each other in our calling of teaching and instilling a lifetime love of learning in our children. Our goal is to provide a Christian educational experience through the use of small groups, with parents working cooperatively to fulfill the many different roles required.
Schedule:
It meets Fridays for two sessions per year, three for Jr/Sr High School classes. There are classes for children 1st-12th grades with an option for non-school aged siblings. We are a volunteer, parent-run co-op. The fall and spring sessions last 8 weeks and the winter session, for Jr/Sr High only, lasts 8 weeks. You may find the current class offerings by clicking on the Current Classes tab.
Family Fees: $40 per session. Direct inquiries for payment go to svchcoop@gmail.com
*The Family Fee per session helps cover costs associated with administration and facility. Each class has material fees that generally range from $5.00 to $20. In addition to the Family Fee there will be an annual $10 fee for background checks for all adults attending co-op. Those interested in becoming part of SVCH may contact any of the current Leadership Team members for more information.
